What I wore Wednesday...

This is one of those shirts that I really like but I don't always feel the prettiest in.  Specifically, I don't feel pretty when I look in the mirror, really other wise I love it and feel great in it.  It doesn't help that one of the first times I wore it I got asked where my baby was... not a big confidence booster, just saying.  You may ask why I wear this after that, well my friend and sister gave it too me.  Since we were... well born we shared a room (being in a family with 5 kids will do that to you).  I got my first room by myself right after I was 18, like a graduation gift almost... but a few months later I went to college with my sister.  Were we lived in a one bedroom apartment.  The first time in our lives when we were apart for more than a week was right after my sister graduated college and she went off to Ireland for just shy of 3 months.  I was excited for her but missed her dearly.  When she came back she brought me back this shirt (another shirt and what is probably my favorite necklace).  Though this shirt is pretty and a lovely material to wear, I will always love it for from whom it was given.

Now that you have heard my *single tear* wonderful story :P  I thought you'd like to see my amazing husband and what he wore this Wed, pimp if I do say so myself!

  1. That's cool! I come from a family with 5 kids also! And I share my room with my 11 year old sister. It can be stressful at times, and I used to hate it, but I don't think I'd want my own room anymore! It would be far too quiet, even if I do have to tell her to stop talking so we can sleep! LOL!

You might like the shirt's appearance if you tried belting it? I love the pattern of the shirt!

  3. Thanks. It is my favorite (and my husbands least favorite, means I will almost never be able to part with it)when my clothes have a story!

Natasha: I know what you mean, I didn't know what to do with myself when I got my own room (even if it was only for a few months)

  4. Great outfit, I think the shirt looks great on you. I love reading your heart stories. Those are some of the best articles of clothing, ones that have a story tagging along.
